Brandon is tied for fifth place in Full Throttle point standings. FIRST ROUND ELIMINATIONS VS. BOB VANDERGRIFF Brandon is first out of the gate and leads the way to the finish line with a winning 3.835/314.53 v. 3.895/313.66. Brandon will face Shawn Langdon in round two. SUNDAY, SEPT. 5 FIFTH AND FINAL QUALIFYING ROUND The car loses traction in the last pass, 4.576/167.66 and Brandon goes into the record books as the No. 4 qualifier of the 2010 Mac Tools U.S. Nationals presented by Lucas Oil. Brandon faces off against Bob Vandergriff first round tomorrow. FOURTH ROUND QUALIFYING The Copart/Lucas Oil dragster loses traction and Brandon coasts across the finish line, 4.913/145.08 and remains fourth in the qualifying order with one session remaining. SATURDAY, SEPT. 4 THIRD ROUND QUALIFYING Great run for the Copart/Lucas Oil team, 3.802/317.87. Brandon is the No. 4 qualifier at the end of Saturday with two more qualifying sessions Sunday to set the field for eliminations. SECOND ROUND QUALIFYING Brandon is the No. 8 qualifier after this run, 3.877/312.57. FRIDAY, SEPT. 3 FIRST ROUND QUALIFYING The Copart/Lucas Oil team is 7th in the first qualifying order with a 3.865/313.58.
